Thanks to you – the participants, we had an awesome day – beyond our wildest expectations. Excellent conversations, friendships and learning. Presentations are being loaded in SlideShare and linked from the Presentations page.

Thank you all for registering. We are getting excited for the event – it is coming so soon (Saturday, January 30th @ Mall of America). Sign-in & coffee is from 8:30-9:00 AM in the Great Room at the Mall. It promises to be a fun and educational day. Presentation proposals are starting to be posted on the website – www.pcampmn.org/presentations.

Come prepared for a busy day of learning and meeting new colleagues. Dress is casual (it IS Saturday!). Bring plenty of business cards for networking. Some folks have promised to bring their smartphones and blog or tweet live during the event.

To answer some of the common questions we have received:

Volunteers – thanks for keeping true to the spirit of Pcamp by volunteering. You will be contacted shortly by one of our organizers with details. We will be needing help with registration, set-up, clean up, hall monitors and more.

Presenters – thanks also for offering to lead a session. The way Pcamp works is that you will be given a brief time to “pitch” your presentation. Attendees will vote day of the event on which presentations they would like to experience. There will be 12 presentation time slots (4 sessions and three rooms) plus lots of informal time for networking and chatting. Presenters will be contacted shortly by one of our organizers with more detail and directions on sending in a short presentation description.

The event will be finished around 4:30-5:00 PM. Some of the participants are already talking about continuing the discussion up on the 4th Floor of the Mall at the Cantina. Please join us in the Bar Area.

Registration for our Jan 30th Event is now Closed

In order to give our suppliers preparation time – have enough seats, lunches, tshirts, etc, do planning stuff… we needed to close registration on Jan 22nd. In the spirit of our unconference, you can still attend this FREE event even if you have not yet registered… but you may have to venture out into the mall and seek out your own meal.

ProductCamp Minnesota is being held at the Mall of America on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in the Great Room near Nickeleodeon Universe theme park. Park in the West side lot and Enter between Macy’s and Nordstroms. Go past the Barbie Store into Nickelodeon Universe and The Great Room is on the right.

What is ProductCamp?

In the spirit of BarCamp, ProductCamp is a collaborative, user organized unconference, focused on Product Marketing and Management topics.

At ProductCamp there are no “attendees,” since everyone participates in some manner: presenting, leading a roundtable discussion, sharing their experiences, helping with logistics, securing sponsorship, setting up wifi, or volunteering. This is a self organizing collaborative event that has to be fun, rewarding and a cool experience!

ProductCamp is a great opportunity for you to learn from, teach to, and network with professionals involved in the Product Management, Marketing, and Development process from Minnesota and surrounding Midwestern States!
